What is the purpose of the Advisory Group and who sits on it?
The Advisory Group (AG) has been established as an independent body without responsibility for the management of MiC. Its relationship with MiC is governed by a Policy & Procedure Statement (PPS) agreed between MiC and the AG. Its members are respected clinicians, academics and trainers, who act as a point of reference for MiC management. The purpose of the AG is to guide the development of the various services to be offered by MiC, with specific reference to training, practice development/certification and academic issues. The terms of the PPS prohibit members from having any financial involvement in MiC and from deriving financial benefit from membership. Membership does not imply endorsement of the services offered.
